My family and I moved to TN at the end of 2020. I joined the Y in Franklin and continued my love of group fitness. It had been a secret dream of mine to be an instructor and at the age of 50, I took the leap of faith, after much prayer, and was certified to be a Body Balance instructor. I quickly followed that cert with my Bodypump cert. It wasn’t until I had gotten my feet wet for a year that I felt the desire to branch out and help others individually. Again, after much prayer, I felt God’s call to get my PT cert. I began my journey at the YMCA teaching FIT Women, a class for ladies over 40 looking for a smaller group setting to learn how to lift weights and get stronger! After doing this for the better part of a year, I finally began taking on clients of my own outside of the gym. My goal is to help women feel comfortable and confident lifting weight so they can improve their quality of life and keep that quality as they age. I focus on functional strength, balance, core ab and back strength. Teaching has become my passion and I only wish I had begun this journey earlier in my life. But, as they say, I am exactly where I am supposed to be. I’m so grateful for this gift.
As a Christian, I give all glory and power to God and thank Him for where I am today.
I’d love to help you get stronger, live longer and feel better in your body.
Let’s get moving!
Psalm 119:105
Your word is a lamp for my feet,
a light on my path.
